Finance Controller

A rapidly expanding international group. This is a premium brand with global coverage and PE backing to continue rapid growth.

Successful candidates will be interviewed within days of application.

We are looking for a technically strong, highly motivated Finance Controller, ideally with SME experience to join a high performing team. Experienced people manager is high advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team management: Direct, support and ensure consistently high performance from direct and indirect reports.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations
  • Lead the implementation of a new accounting system
  • Manage monthly payroll reconciliation and ensure timely payments
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and handle intercompany transactions
  • Ensure accounting records comply with IFRS standards
  • Supervise and manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage cash flow, debt, and collections processes
  • Collaborate with business managers on monthly reporting and budget/forecast queries
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks for senior leadership
  • Maintain and implement robust financial management processes and controls

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or CIMA preferred)
  • Strong academic background and proven track record
  • Advanced Excel skills and high aptitude for systems
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, busy environment
  • Experience in a Private Equity-backed organisation is a plus, but not essential
