Head of Credit Risk

I am working exclusively with an energy solutions provider to find a Head of Credit Risk. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the company's credit risk management, ensuring a balanced approach between risk and reward across the organisation.

You will define and implement a comprehensive credit strategy while assessing and mitigating credit risks associated with trading and sales activities. Your responsibilities will include leading the development of the credit strategy, analysing deal terms that impact credit risk, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to identify credit risk trends.

You will also manage credit files, structure transactions to reduce credit risk, and provide insights on geopolitical and sector impacts on the credit portfolio. Additionally, you will coach junior team members and support due diligence on potential business opportunities.
