Here at Michael Page, we are supporting one of our long standing clients on their hunt for a new Head of Finance to join their team. As the Head of Finance, you will oversee all aspects of the finance function within the London office. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, driving strategic financial initiatives.Our client hold a well established presence within the market.

Description

As Head of Finance, your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;

• Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning processes.
• Administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.
• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate audits and proper filing of tax returns.
• Manage organisational cash flow forecasting.
• Leverage strengths of the finance team members, help to clarify roles and responsibilities and develop and implement training.
• Documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
• Streamlining and improving all operations and accounting systems.
• Lead and manage year audit.

Profile

The successful candidate should hold the following:

• A degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
• ACA Qual, with an Audit background.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role within a Financial Services firm.
• Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.

Job Offer

An attractive salary package ranging from £108,000 to £120,000 per year with discretionary bonus + Central London office location + Hybrid working (3 days from home per week) + Opportunity to work for a successful Financial Services firm + Additional benefits to be confirmed + Modern newly refurbished offices
