Head of Finance - Insurance | 12 month FTC - £130k + Bonus (with the potential to extend)
Hybrid Working: 2-3 days a week in the London office
About the Role:
I am currently working exclusively with a leading insurer on the hunt for a Head of Finance. Managing a team of 4.
In this exciting leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly finance management reports
- Production of year end financial statements
- Compliance with accounting policy
- Ensuring efficient finance processes and controls
- Management of key stakeholders
- Ensure completion of corporation tax and VAT returns
- Preparation of the quarterly finance reports for the Company Board
- Monitoring of KPI's and reporting/explaining the variances
- Managing and supporting the finance team
What you will need:
- Qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE
- Prior work within the Insurance industry and technical accounting policy
- Strong leadership skills - to support and develop team members
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office
