Head of Finance - Insurance | 12 month FTC - £130k + Bonus (with the potential to extend)

Hybrid Working: 2-3 days a week in the London office

About the Role:

I am currently working exclusively with a leading insurer on the hunt for a Head of Finance. Managing a team of 4.

In this exciting leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of monthly finance management reports
  • Production of year end financial statements
  • Compliance with accounting policy
  • Ensuring efficient finance processes and controls
  • Management of key stakeholders
  • Ensure completion of corporation tax and VAT returns
  • Preparation of the quarterly finance reports for the Company Board
  • Monitoring of KPI's and reporting/explaining the variances
  • Managing and supporting the finance team

What you will need:

  • Qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE
  • Prior work within the Insurance industry and technical accounting policy
  • Strong leadership skills - to support and develop team members
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office
