Description
As Head of Finance, your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;
- Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning processes.
- Administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate audits and proper filing of tax returns.
- Manage organisational cash flow forecasting.
- Leverage strengths of the finance team members, help to clarify roles and responsibilities and develop and implement training.
- Documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
- Streamlining and improving all operations and accounting systems.
- Lead and manage year audits.
Profile
The successful candidate should hold the following:
- A degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
- ACA Qual, with an Audit background.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role within a Financial Services firm (Banking preferred).
- Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Job Offer
An attractive salary package ranging from £108,000 to £120,000 per year with discretionary bonus + Central London office location + Hybrid working (3 days from home per week) + Opportunity to work for a successful Investment Bank + Additional benefits to be confirmed + Modern newly refurbished offices
