With significant recent investment this organisation has exciting expansion plans, both organically and via acquisition. The business requires a technically strong Financial Controller with commercial acumen to lead a growing team, implement processes and controls and support in commercial decision making.Responsibilities include:

  • Establish company wide financial objectives, targets and develop budgets
  • Lead and develop a growing finance team
  • Create and maintain an executive dashboard with key KPIs for use by the CEO
  • Provide and upgrade existing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports on the financial performance across the business
  • Attend weekly Finance meetings, demonstrating the company's financial performance and the finance functions performance to the Board.
  • Work with external advisors to prepare and submit annual Corporation Tax returns and ensure quarterly VAT returns are completed.

What you need for this job

  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or similar qualification with relevant experience
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior role in industry
  • Strong finance systems experience, (preferable Xero) and intermediate to advanced Excel experience
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
