Head of Finance | Full-Time | Fixed-Term Contract | 6-9 monthsWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Finance to oversee internal and external financial reporting for a dynamic and established group operating within a regulated market. Role Overview: You will take charge of financial control, ensuring robust processes are in place across the group. This role involves managing financial reporting, treasury and investment oversight, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (UK/US GAAP). You’ll also be involved in capital management, cash flow management, audit relationships, and providing financial insights for key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and review complex accounting transactions and ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards.
  • Manage treasury functions, including liquidity, investment management, and currency risk.
  • Handle the preparation and review of statutory accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Manage relationships with auditors and provide reports to the Audit Committee.
  • Work closely with senior management to report on group performance, capital requirements, and assist with investor relations.
  • Lead a high-performing finance team, providing leadership and development support.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • ACA or equivalent qualification with strong knowledge of both UK and US GAAP.
  • Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting within regulated industries, particularly in the Lloyd’s market
  • Strong analytical and relationship management skills, with experience managing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
