- Oversee and review complex accounting transactions and ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards.
- Manage treasury functions, including liquidity, investment management, and currency risk.
- Handle the preparation and review of statutory accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Manage relationships with auditors and provide reports to the Audit Committee.
- Work closely with senior management to report on group performance, capital requirements, and assist with investor relations.
- Lead a high-performing finance team, providing leadership and development support.
- ACA or equivalent qualification with strong knowledge of both UK and US GAAP.
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting within regulated industries, particularly in the Lloyd’s market
- Strong analytical and relationship management skills, with experience managing teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
