Partner Financial are working with an innovative PE-backed SaaS business, seeking a dynamic and ambitious Head of Finance. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an SME that’s disrupting its market with cutting-edge solutions and scaling rapidly.

As the Head of Finance, you will report directly to the CFO and be at the heart of the company’s financial strategy and operations. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic oversight, offering the chance to drive financial excellence, influence decision-making, and support long-term growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, and board reporting, ensuring financial integrity.
  • Managing cashflow and working capital, providing insightful analysis and reporting to support operational decision-making.
  • Delivering in-depth scenario modelling, KPI development, and strategic analysis to inform decision-making and support business scalability
  • Overseeing and refining financial controls and processes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Managing cashflow and working capital, providing accurate and actionable reporting to support business operations.
  • Driving the budgeting and forecasting process, working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Developing and implementing enhanced financial systems and reporting tools to support scalability and business growth.
  • Partnering with the CFO to provide insights and recommendations to the board and investors.

The Ideal candidate:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), ideally with experience in a PE-backed environment.
  • Experienced in the technology or SaaS sector, with a strong understanding of subscription-based business models.
  • Adept at balancing detailed financial controls with forward-looking analysis and strategic insight.
  • An excellent leader with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to deliver with precision in a fast-paced environment.
