Our client, a fast-growing and highly successful restaurant chain, is seeking to hire a Head of Finance to join their expanding team. Backed by private equity, the company has experienced impressive growth and is now looking for an experienced finance leader to support the next phase of its journey.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, process improvements, and financial controls across the business. You will play a key role in leading the audit process and managing a team. This is a broad, hands-on role where you will drive improvements in financial processes, implement better control systems, and work closely with senior leadership to provide insight into financial performance and key metrics.
As the Head of Finance, your key responsibilities will include leading the preparation of monthly management accounts and month-end reporting, enhancing financial control and processes, identifying and implementing areas for improvement, and managing the annual audit while liaising with external auditors. You will also oversee cash management, financial forecasting, and collaborate with senior leadership to support business decisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and controls. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong leadership skills, and have a keen eye for process optimization. Previous experience managing audits and reporting within a multi-site business, ideally in the hospitality or retail sector, is preferred, although candidates from other backgrounds will also be considered.
