Head of Financial Reporting

West London - Hybrid Working (3 days in office)

£120,000 - £125,000 + Bonus and Benefits

Investigo are working with a FTSE Property company who have seen consistent growth over the last few years.

This role reports directly into the Finance Director and also works closely with the CFO and M&A Director in leading all financial reporting as well as providing strategic insight for acquisitions and mergers. A strong technical knowledge in IFRS is essential to ensuring financial reporting and controls continue at the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take lead on technical accounting matters under IFRS, including drafting papers and presenting to relevant parties
  • Drafting and submission of consolidation IFRS financial statements
  • Manage Group external audit and being key liaison with the auditors
  • Manage the financial reporting team with direct and indirect reports
  • Financial reporting including management information packs for use by Board and external stakeholders and investors
  • Compliance responsibilities with relevant regulatory bodies and financiers

Key Requirements

  • ACA/CA Qualified with a Top 10 Audit training background
  • Working experience within a listed organisation
  • Excellent IFRS skills with a proven knowledge of IFRS 15
  • Property knowledge is desirable but not essential
  • Proven stakeholder management internally and externally
  • Ability to lead of making positive changes and improvements to efficiency
  • Staff management
