The bank has experienced significant growth over the past few years and have decided to restructure the finance function to bring in strong leadership. Broad role - emphasis with this position is to drive progress, improve upon the current FP&A processes and create an elite in-house FP&A Function.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a charismatic leader to join and have a positive impact on the organisation by working closely with the Senior ExCo and having their say across the wider product offering and other strategic ventures.

No 2 days will be the same but some responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing the Financial Planning and Analysis Function.
  • Ensuring the successful development and utilisation of IT resources used by the Finance Department.
  • Promoting and supporting the continuing professional and career development of all individual members of the Financial Planning and Analysis team.
  • Preparing and submitting strategic KPIs and MIs to present to senior management.
  • Preparing quarterly budgets and forecast, analysing risks and opportunities to budget and any necessary management actions that may be required to meet targets.
  • Leading a strategic business partnering team, that works closely with all areas of the bank to support the successful delivery of the strategy.

Experience required:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Extensive FP&A experience
  • Financial Services background (ideally Banking)
  • Prior line management experience
