We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Head of Group Financial Reporting to join a prominent company in the Media & Entertainment industry. This role will provide you with the chance to lead the financial reporting processes, drive operational efficiency, and oversee key financial operations across the business.The role is offered on a hybrid basis, you will be expected to be in the office up to 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have a background within TV/Entertainment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial reporting processes, including both internal management reporting and statutory accounting.
  • Lead the audit process, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while ensuring financial accuracy.
  • Manage key operational finance functions, including supplier payments, employee payroll, and treasury management.
  • Lead and deliver key business projects, such as system upgrades, insurance renewals, and detailed financial analysis.
  • Oversee corporate recharges, treasury operations, and group finance activities to streamline financial processes.
  • Take charge of preparing consolidated financial statements and managing the entire audit cycle.
  • Ensure strict adherence to tax regulations and manage the company’s insurance portfolio.
  • Handle all aspects of Defined Benefit Pensions accounting and management.
  • Lead the planning and consolidation process for the annual budget and 3-year financial forecasts.
  • Manage cash flow, ensure timely finance approvals, and monitor key financial indicators.
  • Address ad-hoc group reporting and operational finance queries as they arise to maintain smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A robust background in finance with experience in group reporting and operational finance management.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing finance teams.
  • Experience in handling the audit process, managing tax compliance, and overseeing financial systems.
  • A proactive, solution-driven approach to managing business projects and addressing financial challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, insurance, and financial compliance within a complex corporate structure.
  • A background within TV/Entertainment would be highly desirable
