Head of Group Reporting | Multi-site | London/Hybrid | £90,000 - £120,000 + package

My client, a major multi-site business, is looking for a Head of Group Reporting to drive financial performance and lead the team as the business undergoes significant change and transformation.

In this role, you will manage the Group’s financial operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. You will work closely with other senior finance and non-finance staff across the business to ensure that financial information is accurate, drive control and process improvement across all areas of financial reporting and ensure that external reporting is continually enhanced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the leader in the Group finance team and ensure development and delivery is to a high standard
  • Lead the preparation of the consolidated financial statements to comply with accounting standards and regulatory requirements (IFRS, etc)
  • Develop and apply financial policies to support the company's short and long-term goals
  • Make sure internal and external financial reporting is done on time and to a high standard
  • Provide technical accounting support and guidance on complex accounting issues to ensure compliance with accounting standards/practices
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders over multiple departments and teams and collaborate on reporting matters
  • Manage the external audit process and coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit and resolve any issues

Required Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA/CA)
  • Proven experience in a Head of Group Reporting role
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Top-tier organisational and time-management skills to ensure meeting deadlines
  • Proven ability in managing audit relationships
