An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Service to join our client's Insurance Broker Accounting (IBA) team. They are one of the world's largest insurance brokerage firms, providing risk management, insurance, and consulting services to clients globally.
In this senior leadership role, you will be the key interface between our IBA teams and various client-facing broking businesses. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the secure, efficient, and auditable handling of client money, while delivering exceptional service to both clients and insurer partners. You will collaborate closely with leadership teams to set and achieve strategic goals and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and the control environment.
Responsibilities as an IBA Head of Services include:
- Managing the interface between the IBA and a portfolio of client-focused broking businesses
- Collaborating with leadership to establish and meet meaningful targets through coordination between IBA and the broader business
- Ensuring the delivery of optimal service levels to both clients and insurer partners
- Contributing to the development and execution of the IBA strategy and operational plans
- Recommending and implementing initiatives to improve end-to-end service delivery and strengthen the control environment
- Working with technical teams and business units to escalate and resolve issues efficiently
- Ensuring IBA considerations are incorporated into business planning for new products or initiatives
Skills and experience needed for this IBA Head of Services role:
- Proven experience in a senior Insurance Broker Accounting (IBA) role
- Professional accounting or insurance qualifications preferred, but not essential
- Strong knowledge of insurance broking accounts and the UK regulatory environment
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving change
