Altum are excited to be working with a global, market leading media business in their search for a Transactional Finance Manager. This role will play a pivotal part in the business, leading the Transactional Finance Team during an exciting time of growth.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Managing the Transactional Finance team (AP/AR/Treasury)
- Guiding and advising on process improvements
- Assisting with system implementation
- Month end and general ledger management; ensuring compliance with Group accounting policy, resolving issues and discrepancies in financial records, and maintaining month-end reconciliations
- Developing robust processes for purchasing and expense management
- Drive automation, process improvements and international harmonisation
- Support on ad hoc business projects including AR process development in relation to energy trading
- Motivate and grow supporting finance team
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Experienced people manager who enjoys leading, developing and mentoring a growing team
- Comprehensive understanding of procure to pay processes supporting both UK and international expansion
- Prior experience with process and system improvements
- Excellent communication and ability to tailor style to suit stakeholder needs
