Senior Indirect Tax Manager, Financial Services

£80,000 - £110,000

A global financial services company is seeking an experienced indirect tax expert for to join this team. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, this role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities with a strong emphasis on flexibility.

Key duties will include:

  • Handling VAT matters for the Group and contributing to process improvements and automation projects
  • Managing the UK VAT compliance process
  • Providing VAT advisory services to senior stakeholders across finance and business units
  • Maintaining relationships with HMRC, including dealing with PESM negotiations, disputes, and appeals
  • Assisting with other tax-related tasks as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
  • Strong knowledge of UK VAT compliance and advisory
  • Experience working in a multinational financial services firm, including managing partial exemption issues
  • Availability within one month or less
  • The legal right to work in the UK
