INrecruitment are working with an Insolvency firm based in London, who are now seeking an Insolvency Manager to join their successful insolvency and business restructuring team.

This is a hybrid role, offering a 3/2 split between office and home.

Role

The Insolvency Manager will be responsible for a large portfolio of corporate Insolvency cases, i.e. liquidations, CVA’s, together with more complex cases, and be responsible for compliance with minimal Partner supervision.

In time you will conduct and progress pre-appointment discussions/meetings with partners, shareholders, and agents, providing relevant advice and guidance as required.

Preparation of statutory reports, conducting investigations, reviewing/analysing financial statements, and quality control, are essential aspects of the role. You will also provide Partners with suggestions, updates, and solutions.

Person

For this Insolvency Manager role you should have at least 4 years Insolvency and Restructuring experience in a similar role in a small to medium size accountancy firm, Top 20 firm, or a firm of Insolvency Practitioners.

You will have a relevant insolvency qualification, JIEB is desirable but not essential, or you may choose to become an appointment taking IP, alternatively you may be recently JIEB qualified but yet to obtain a licence.

You should have well-developed communication skills as you will act as the main point of contact with external clients. Team leadership is an essential part of this role, and also supervise, mentor, and develop junior members of staff.

For the successful candidate this role can offer a definite route to Partnership or alternatively, if preferred, a long-term senior managerial position within the firm.
