Interim Finance Director – Media - 4 Month FTC - £125-150k (HYBRID)Are you a skilled finance professional with strong year-end experience and a background in managing finance teams? We’re looking for an experienced Finance Director to step into a short-term contract, providing essential leadership and expertise through a crucial year-end period. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with a hands-on approach, ideally from a Practice background, to support and guide a finance team within a fast-paced media environment.Key Responsibilities:

Audit & Financial ControlLead the year-end audit process, acting as the go-to person for auditors and ensuring accurate, compliant financial reporting.
Team ManagementManage and motivate a talented finance team, providing support and guidance on technical finance matters. Be the trusted leader for your team when dealing with complex queries and detailed audit questions.
Financial ReportingOversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, maintaining a high standard of financial control and compliance across all areas of accounting.
Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with senior management and auditors, building strong relationships and ensuring smooth, effective communication on financial matters.

Ideal Candidate:

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a solid background in finance.
Proven year-end and audit experience, with the ability to lead audit processes and manage detailed queries.
Strong team leadership skills, with experience in motivating and supporting finance teams through demanding periods.
Media sector experience is a plus, but candidates from other industries with similar demands are welcome to apply.
