Cedar is recruiting an Interim Finance Manager to join a government organisation in London for an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate will support the CFO with the implementation and improvement of the financial strategy.
Rate: £525-£600 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London
Hybrid: 1-2 days in the office
Responsibilities
- Produce and present management accounts to the Board.
- Develop policies and processes for strategic and operational financial management to support the delivery of efficient and effective conduct.
- Prepare and deliver the financial plan, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Create flow charts and process notes for the financial systems, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow.
- Create detailed budgets, monitor expenditures and provided financial updates.
- Assist with preparing and reporting quarterly forecasts.
- Represent and advocate for the organisation and liaise with stakeholders.
Requirements
- CCAB qualified or equivalent
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Finance Management experience within a Central Government organisation or Local Authority
- Proficiency with CRM systems is advantageous
- Demonstrable Excel skills, such as Power BI, Power Query and pivots.
