As a key player in the industry, they are looking to enhance their financial reporting processes and are seeking an experienced qualified accountant to lead the development and implementation of a new Group Finance Consolidation system.

Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and qualified accountant with significant experience in designing and implementing financial consolidation systems. This role will involve creating a new Excel-based Group Finance Consolidation system for a business with 10 subsidiary companies. You will be responsible for developing and rolling out a financial reporting template that meets the needs of the group, ensuring smooth consolidation of financial results across the subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement an Excel-based Group Finance Consolidation system for the business.

  • Develop and implement a standardized financial reporting template to cover the Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Chart of Accounts for 10 subsidiary companies.

  • Consolidate financial results from multiple entities and ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Work closely with the finance team to gather necessary data, and ensure the system aligns with reporting requirements.

  • Support the integration of the new system into the existing finance and reporting infrastructure.

  • Provide training and guidance to relevant stakeholders as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing group consolidation systems, particularly Excel-based solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Chart of Accounts.

  • Experience working with multiple subsidiary companies and consolidating results.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a multinational business is highly desirable.
