I am urgently seeking an experienced Charity Accountant to join a passionate organisation during a busy period, to support with the management accounts and statutory accounting!
Working in London on a hybrid basis, the role will report into a highly rated Director of Resources to offer day to day finance support. The role will initially be for two months with high-potential for extension.
The main responsibilities of the Interim Finance Manager include:
- Leading on the preparation of statutory accounts, including preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting disclosures.
- Create management accounts to be reported to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Work closely with stakeholders to provide financial management, ensuring they have oversight of financial performance.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a chartered accountant.
- Have extensive experience working in the charity sector, and a strong understanding of SORP.
- Available at short notice.
