Interim Finance Manager

Global Accounting Network are partnering with an international real estate client looking for a UK Finance Manager on an initial 12 month contract.

As the UK Finance Manager, this position will play a key role in managing month-end close, reporting, compliance, and banking requirements for the UK. Additionally, you will provide support to the UK Asset Management team. This role reports directly to the Head of Financial Reporting and will manage a team of 4.

Key Responsibilities:

• UK Finance Oversight: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with relevant regulations, and adherence to banking requirements.
• Team Support: Provide support to the UK Asset Management team, based in London, ensuring smooth financial operations.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of four.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations, internal controls, and industry best practices.
• Process Improvement: Drive improvements where possible to both reporting processes and the actual reports themselves
• Provide Commercial Support: Partner with FP&A and Asset Management to provide commercial insights.

Key Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Accountant
• Previous experience running month end
• Previous experience driving process change and improvements
• Prior team management
• Any exposure in Deal Support would be beneficial
