Interim FP&A Manager | Rapid Growth SaaS Scale-Up | Outside IR35

The Client

Harmonic are delighted to working with a rapid growth, VC Backed SaaS business who are disrupting their market. Our client is looking for an Interim FP&A Manager / Financial Modelling specialist to start immediately (ideally this week) and support their finance team as they come into a period of high workload and some longer periods of leave. Our client has raised in excess of £30m and is now focused on continued revenue growth and longer-term international expansion into the US.

Backed by elite Venture Capital funds, our client's online platform is applicable across multiple industries and offers a wide range of tools and services. They are already a market leader in their niche with a huge market potential for expansion. Located in a fashionable area in Northeast London and boasting a non-corporate working environment, they are looking for someone who is keen to get hands on and make an immediate impact. This position is initially a 6-week contract, with the potential to be extended into 2025.

The Role

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and senior leadership team, this role is especially well suited to an experienced commercial finance professional who has previous experience building 3 statement models from scratch. They also need someone who is able to drive improvements across the wider FP&A function including budgeting and forecasting. This position requires a proactive and experienced finance professional who is able to manage their time and make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities

  • Build 3 statement financial model.
  • Drive improvements in the wider FP&A function including the forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Ad hoc support for the SLT and Group Financial Controller.
  • Build cashflow model.

Essential Experience

  • 3+ years industry experience in a FP&A or commercial finance role.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build 3 statement models from scratch.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to manage upwards.
  • Passion for Technology and an ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in a start-up or scale-up.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in SaaS or Tech business.

Location: NE London (2-3 days per week in office)

Start Date: Immediate

Day Rate: £375 - £450 per day (outside IR35)
