An interim role within a dynamic and rapidly expanding Lloyd's underwriter.

This is a broad role looking at core areas including the delivery financial planning and performance reporting across the business, supporting strategic planning, managing and mentoring a highly dynamic team and supporting key external relations including with investors. Duties will be very broad and not limited to:

  • The evaluation of key drivers including P&L, balance sheet, solvency ratios and cash flow
  • Management of the delivery of monthly MI at both a subsidiary and consolidated level
  • The provision of high-quality analysis of trends, variance and performance metrics
  • Supervision of a team and ensuring the timely production of MI and related reports
  • Implementation of new performance metrics and the development of processes around this
  • Managing the preparation of quarterly reforesting with extensive analysis including key drivers and projected results
  • Investor reporting
  • Management of the underwriting budgeting process
  • Variance analysis of results against plans and forecasts
  • Monitoring and reporting of performance against peers
  • Supporting the leadership team in commercial projects and initiatives

Candidates should have an established track record in commercial lines non-life insurance
