- Month-End Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts with support from the finance team.
- Build and review balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate stock reporting, with a focus on streamlining manual processes.
- Financial Operations:
- Oversee and ensure timely payment of invoices and expense claims.
- Manage cash flow and currency requirements for international transactions.
- Collaborate with the wholesale team to oversee receivables collection and supplier payments.
- Process Improvement & Best Practices:
- Review existing financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
- Ensure systems are integrated to deliver accurate and reliable reporting.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Oversee tax compliance and accurate reporting for VAT, PAYE, NIC, Corporation Tax, and global sales taxes.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards (IFRS) and assist with audit preparations.
- Be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Have experience in fashion retail or a stock-based business (e.g., manufacturing, wholesale, FMCG).
- Be highly proficient in Excel and have experience with Xero.
- Be immediately available and ready to hit the ground running.
- Be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing operational tasks while maintaining a helicopter view to drive improvements and strategy.
- Competitive salary of £70,000 - £85,000 per annum (DOE).
