Interim Head of Finance Operations

Ivy Rock Partners are delighted to be supporting a growing start up to recruit a Head of Finance Operations on a 3-4 month basis.

What you will be responsible for

• Leading the delivery of financial operations and control processes, including P2P, month-end cycles, cash management and tax.
• Ownership of management and financial accounts the organisation.
• Leading on the development of financial control policies and processes, fraud reporting, and
• ensure that financial risks are minimised.
• Leadership in financial reporting and engagement with internal and external stakeholders
• Overseeing a Finance Operations Manager to ensure that accounts payable processing and month-end accounting closes are smooth, timely and accurate.

What you will need to succeed

• You will be a fully qualified Accountant.
• External audit experience would be beneficial.
• You will have ideally worked in a fast paced, start up environment who is excited by an ever changing business model.
• You will have experience of leading financial operations and controls to mitigate financial and fraud risk, including but not limited to P2P, month-end cycles, cash management, policy creation and implementation, and tax.
