We’re supporting this ambitious, rapidly growing international charity is currently seeking an International Finance Manager to join their lovely, high-performing team on a permanent basis. Reporting into an exceptional Head of Finance and managing a small team, this role will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in global financial management, reporting, budgeting, and governance, while working closely with teams across multiple locations to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.
The key duties of this International Finance Manager are as follows:
- Lead financial management processes, overseeing month-end procedures, reconciliations, and consolidation across global operations.
- Manage and implement financial policies, ensuring governance and controls for both operational costs and grant-making processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare timely and accurate management accounts, provide financial analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Be the financial lead for statutory reporting, audits, and donor reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.
- Oversee financial systems and provide training to staff, supporting the growth and efficiency of the finance function across the organisation.
- Work with teams globally to improve processes and systems, driving automation and increased efficiency.

The successful candidate will have:
- Achieved their full accountancy qualification.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and statutory reporting.
- Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working in the charity sector, including familiarity with SORP.
- Ideally, experience of managing or mentoring a small team of finance professionals.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ambition to drive forward a culture of scalability and process improvements.
