Junior Finance Manager | Digital Tech Platform | Fully Remote
Harmonic are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) business in their search for a Junior Finance Manager to join their growing global team on a fully remote basis. Their cutting-edge software tool allows businesses to create seamless connections with their customers by improving their digital communication offering. Their innovative product has landed the business backing from notable investors with a track record of early investments into some of the biggest Tech success stories of the last decade including Revolut, Etsy and Zendesk.

The Role:
Reporting to the Finance lead, you'll get exposure across the full spectrum of finance operations including overseeing month-end processes, managing AP and providing additional support on projects. You'll also have the opportunity to expand your skill set beyond your core responsibilities to explore other areas of finance and operations through diverse projects and cross-departmental collaborations.

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Accounting
- Manage the month-end process, including transaction booking and preparation of management accounts.
- Deliver financial reporting, including investor reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
Finance Operations
- Oversee Accounts Payable for effective cash flow and treasury management.
- Manage monthly payroll for multiple entities.
- Generate cash flow forecasts for liquidity planning.
- Ensure accurate invoicing and reconciliation in Accounts Receivable.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Audit, VAT, and Compliance
- Liaise with external auditors for timely audits and financial statement approvals.
- Prepare VAT returns to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations.
Forecasting and Analytics
- Lead cost control initiatives and monthly variance analysis for strategic insights.
- Assist in analysis, business planning, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with teams for financial planning and budgeting support.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in relevant finance role
- Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills (vlookups, pivot tables and querys etc)
- Good technical knowledge and communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and proactive

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
