We are seeking a highly experienced M&A Director/Partner to join a growth and developing M&A practice. This is an opportunity to join a vibrant and growth orientated firm, and to drive our client’s reputation and capabilities in the M&A space.

Our client is a leading Advisory firm, with a growing Corporate Finance arm, operating in the mid-market. The client specializes in providing solutions for situations that are too difficult for more traditional sources of capital to navigate. Whether supporting a management team through a complex business transition or helping a bank exit a troubled loan, this firm is a strong and effective capital source for challenging situations.

As the M&A Director/Partner, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing a team on all standard and special situation mandates, including standard M&A, accelerated M&A
  • Experience with non-standard M&A (carveouts, refinancing, restructuring and similar)
  • Preparing IMs, managing data rooms, financial modelling and conducting diligence.
  • Demonstrable private equity, M&A and corporate restructuring experience and exposure
  • Excellent people management skills are essential, as is the ability to delegate effectively, collaborate and multitask efficiently. You should also have evidence of complex stakeholder management in a client-facing environment.
  • Relevant qualifications, i.e. ACCA, ACA, CFA and equivalent experience.

In this role, you will work directly with Partners and Heads of Restructuring to advise on a diverse and complex portfolio of live opportunities. You will also showcase and drive forward capabilities in the M&A Advisory space, as well as take the lead in all stakeholder management, particularly in a client-facing environment. To be successful in this role, you should have significant, with a track record of leading complex deals and providing exceptional client service.
