SJC Partners are currently working with an award winning Corporate Finance team who are looking to recruit an M&A Manager for their London office as part of their growth plans.  As an M&A Manager you would be responsible for the entire process – from generating the lead, the first pitch, all transactional documentation until final execution. On a daily basis, you will be a Business Developer, a Project Manager of the transaction and a deal leader at the same time. Typically you would work on a wide range of deals (Buy and sell side, MBO’s, MBI’s, re-financing and growth capital) in the enterprise value range of £10m - £120m (across all sectors).  Given the 'boutique feel' to the team you will have great visibility on deals with a variety of types and play an integral role in the growth of the business. They have exciting plans for the business and see this hire as key to their future expansion in the London and South West market.  Applicants should possess a minimum of 4 years deals years experience (applications are welcome from due diligence professionals looking to move into execution) and crucially you will be passionate about business development and ideally have an existing network of contacts you want to develop and leverage from further. Given the typical deal range and key target market you will be naturally passionate about the mid-market deal market and have a genuine interest in entrepreneurs.  This role is a highly attractive one as it offers an individual huge variety in terms of deal exposure combined with more responsibility, ownership and visibility than that often offered in a larger firm.
