Mandarin speaking Corporate Banking Business Support Officer - What You'll be Doing:

Assist in the development and promotion of corporate banking business draft report/papers in formal Chinese report writing style; Understand basic banking products, portfolio management or business management.

Support departmental teams in operational and administrative matters, such as assist to onboard of target clients, regulatory and internal reporting requirements, market research, regular data analysis, prepare for presentation, etc.

Administrative support:

  • Assist in the preparation of business plans, internal reports/reviews and administrative communications;
  • Prepare regular reports on transaction banking activities, including transaction volumes, revenues and client feedback. Working with cross-functional teams.
  • Collate monthly, quarterly and annual performance monitoring statistics and ensure RMs provide timely updates;
  • Collect departmental business data and regular analysis to provide insights.

Work closely with internal and external:

  • Work closely with other business support functions, risk management and compliance teams to maintain a cohesive and efficient working environment.
  • ensure comply with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures applicable to the conduct of the business in which the Jobholder is involved, including working closely with other departments, primarily middle and back office.
  • Manage a demanding and reactive workload in a responsive manner to assist the department in meeting key objectives and external regulatory requirements;

Other:

  • Undertake all required activities as directed by the Line Manager, Head of Department or as agreed in the annual objectives to support the achievement of the departmental KPls;
  • Work flexibly across the service, working on a range of activities to provide proactive support.
  • Work liaise with colleagues and team leaders to identify areas for improvement, ensuring that the provision of support remains appropriate for all members of the department;

Mandarin speaking Corporate Banking Business Support Officer - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • professional experience in a banking, Fintech, corporate treasury related industry, front desk preferred.
  • Knowledge of Corporate/Transaction banking products and related services.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Team player, Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Diligence (attention to detail) and high productivity;
  • An ability to learn, adapt quickly and work under pressure, as well as to work digitally and efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
  • Fluency in Mandarin as well as English is also desirable.
