Credit Manager- What You'll be Doing:

  • Assess and analyses corporate credits
  • Provide input on credit ratings, RAROC, ECL and impact on portfolio
  • Present to CRO and CCo a detailed credit assessment covering:
  1. Risks and mitigates
  2. Transaction/Deal terms
  3. Industry
  4. Company / Group (Obligor / Guarantor)
  5. Financial position
  6. ESG/Climate risk impact
  • Process approvals though HO system
  • Review legal documentation
  • Review post-loan management reports/updates
  • Provide training to junior credit staff and business development staff

Credit Manager - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

Essential

  • Solid working experience, preferably in corporate finance in a medium/large financial institution
  • Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail on underlying risks in order to protect the bank
  • Proven ability to analyse credit risk covering financial institutions and corporate borrowers
  • Knowledge of internal rating methodology and stress testing credit risk
  • Product knowledge covering treasury, corporate lending, structured deals, project finance and/or Leverage finance.
  • Knowledge of legal documentation and collateral management
  • Able to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Have strong attention to detail, and the ability to recognise and investigate reporting anomalies
  • Ability to work under pressure to deliver credit applications on time and present to CCo.

Desirable

  • Mandarin speaker (build relationship with HO credit execution department)
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Banking or risk management
