Job Title: Mandarin speaking Finance Manager (Banking)

The Skills You'll Need: Fluent level of Mandarin and English. Relevant working experience in Liquidity and/or Regulatory Reporting in Banking / Finance / Insurance / Big 4 sector.

Your New Salary: up to £90k depending on experience

Report to: Head of Finance

Job Status: Permanent. Hybrid working with 1 day WFH

Finance Manager - Summary:

  • Report to Head of Finance
  • To support the Head of Finance in day-to-day financial, liquidity and ALM control.
  • In addition to the responsibilities summarised above you are required to comply at all times with the Conduct Rules set out in the FCA Handbook and the PRA Rulebook.

Finance Manager - What You'll be Doing:

  • Conduct daily Liquidity risk analysis and periodic Interest and FX rate risks analysis in Banking Book, calculate daily branch LCR and Head Office liquidity thresholds;
  • To assist in monitoring assets and liabilities and ensure they are managed in an appropriated and effective manner;
  • Responsible for preparation of all Finance related legally required reports/returns to PRA and BoE;
  • Implementation and testing of an automated regulatory reporting system for PRA, BoE Statistical and prudential reporting;
  • Responsible for bank reconciliation and payment Finance related ledger postings;
  • Help Finance team for Finance related IT system testing and updates;
  • To assist in creating and monitor financial plans and budgets;
  • To assist the Finance team in monthly management information preparation, or other analysis of the business as required;
  • Monitor regulatory policy, proposals and consultation papers related to Finance;
  • To assist in developing Finance and Accounting policies where requested, implementation of systems as necessary, and help with the preparation and provision of financial statements and reports;
  • To back up the Head of Finance; and Any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Head of Finance.
  • You may be required to take minutes of the Finance related meetings.
