Urgently seeking a Market Risk/Product Control Project Manager Initial 12 Month contract and the position will require weekly visits to site in London.You'll be working closely with key Market Risk team members in order to successfully deliver the project over the coming years. The ideal candidate would have Market Risk/Product Control experience covering European Energy markets, plus extensive experience working with the Endur ETRMSkills and requirements:

  • 7-10 years working in the Market Risk/Product Control covering Energy Markets.
  • Extensive experience working with the Endur ETRM, such that can be key adviser to Market Risk function.
  • Historic success of project management delivery, including ETRM migrations.
  • Technologically oriented; ability to utilise new technologies to enhance existing controls, processes, and offer detailed trading insights.
  • In depth knowledge of the UK and European Energy Markets, and a knowledge of both compliance and voluntary carbon markets.
  • Expertise of non-linear valuations for complex transactions: This would include all physical options, such as tolling agreements, batteries and storage/transport portfolio.
  • An understanding of the interdependencies with other asset classes, such as: gas, coal, carbon, and oil
  • Substantial experience within a trading and risk management organization, including a strong understanding of trading, operations, risk, compliance and mid/back-office business processes, policies, procedures, and controls
