Position Overview

Our client, a prestigious boutique tax firm in London, is seeking a Mixed Tax Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive taxation services across both corporate and personal tax matters for a diverse client portfolio, combining technical expertise with strong business development skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied portfolio including corporate clients, SMEs, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Deliver tailored tax solutions across multiple tax disciplines (corporate, personal, capital gains, inheritance)
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive networking and referrals
  • Convert prospects into clients through consultative selling approaches
  • Coordinate and review tax compliance work ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide strategic tax planning advice that optimizes clients' overall tax positions
  • Stay current with UK tax legislation across various tax disciplines
  • Develop junior team members and review their work
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue targets and business development KPIs
Required Qualifications
  • CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mixed tax environment
  • Proven ability to handle both corporate and personal tax matters competently
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax regulations across multiple disciplines
  • Experience in developing client relationships and generating new business
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Commercial awareness and ability to provide practical, business-focused advice
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
