We are seeking an Interim Regional Finance Manager to join a global finance team. This role is crucial for supporting financial control and reporting across multiple countries. The successful candidate will oversee central financial tasks, manage organization-wide financial processes, and provide critical support to finance managers and teams.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance financial controls, conduct month-end reconciliations, and implement audit recommendations.
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and support project and donor audits.
- Manage month-end processes, prepare consolidated management accounts, and ensure accurate project recharges.
- Analyze management accounts and develop financial reporting improvements.
- Serve as Systems Administrator, support system users, and maintain data integrity. (Temporary role until new system is in place)
- Assist with system integration and data migration for new finance software.
- Manage financial aspects for core functions and specific regions, ensuring accurate accounting of accruals and overheads.
- Supervise and train Assistant Financial Accountants, provide finance inductions, and lead financial training.
Qualifications:
Essential: Qualified or Part-Qualified/QBE Accountant with significant experience in year-end accounting and UK statutory reporting. Proficient in management accounts, donor reporting, and software admin support. Excellent Excel skills, analytical abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable: Experience in project accounting and the NGO sector. Familiarity with PS Financials and experience training finance staff.
