We are currently working with an exciting, high-growth global business within the marketing space, headquartered in London but with a presence across multiple international markets. Due to rapid expansion, they are seeking an experienced Order-to-Cash Manager to lead and optimise our O2C function, helping shape the future of their finance operations during a critical growth phase.

The Role:As the O2C Manager, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the full lifecycle billing and collections process, providing critical analytics and insights to senior management. You will lead and develop our global offshore team of billers and credit controllers, ensuring effective billing, collections, and reporting across multiple currencies and regions. The role requires strong leadership, a process-driven mindset, and a strategic approach to optimising their operations as they scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end O2C process, ensuring efficient client billing and collections while minimise Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and aged debt.
  • Provide senior management with detailed analytics and reporting on DSO and aged debt performance, including recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage and develop a global offshore team of billers and credit controllers, focusing on upskilling, performance management, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish, improve, and automate controls and processes to optimise efficiency and accuracy across the O2C function.
  • Design and implement a robust client billing and collections strategy to enhance cash flow and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align O2C strategy with business objectives, supporting the company's rapid growth trajectory.
  • Leverage ERP and technology systems to streamline processes and drive automation in billing, collections, and reporting.

To be a good fit:

  • Demonstrable experience in an O2C leadership role, ideally within larger, multinational, and multicurrency businesses.
  • Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to manage and develop remote, offshore teams effectively.
  • A solid understanding of financial controls and processes, with experience in building and automating O2C workflows.
  • Expertise in ERP systems and technology solutions, with a focus on process optimisation and automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach, capable of working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment that retains an SME/start-up feel.
