The firm seeks a proactive and experienced individual who is adept at working within a collaborative and empowering workspace. The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading a proficient team, managing a varied client portfolio, and contributing significantly to the firm’s ongoing success.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and overseeing the accounts preparation service delivery to those allocated.
  • Planning, controlling, supervising, and reviewing the work of junior team members.
  • Reporting directly to partners, directors, and senior managers as necessary.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality statutory accounts prepared in accordance with relevant standards, including all necessary disclosures.
  • Preparing and/or reviewing consolidation workings to support group accounts prepared by the team.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is highly desirable, or equivalent qualification by experience.
  • Substantial experience in an accountancy firm, with a preference for those who have worked in business services or outsourcing roles.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of UK and International accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with a capacity to engage in business development activities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Xero, Caseware, and Excel.
