Boston Hale is currently recruiting for an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join a Charity based in Central London.

The working hours are 28 hours per week with 2 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility of the finance function with line management of 1 Finance Officer
  • Develop and oversee procedures for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and banking allocations to ensure transactions are accurate and timely.
  • Lead and manage the year-end and month-end close process
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax returns and maintain effective processes for tax accounting
  • Support the CFO with the annual budgeting process

Essential Qualifications:

  • CCAB qualified accountant with proven experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of transaction management, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll and banking
  • Experience in managing VAT and other statutory returns

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Prior experience from the not for profit sector
