Part-Time Financial Accountant
Marketing | Central London, Shoreditch | 3 days a week | Hybrid | 45-50k | 6 month contract
A rapidly growing marketing start-up are on the search for a part-time financial accountant to support their dynamic finance team of 4.
Reporting into a part-time CFO, you'll have ownership of processing of all Bank and AP/AR transactions up to Trial Balance alongside working closely with the Management Accountant to deliver the results of the business to the CFO/CEO.
This is a 6 month contract with strong potential to become permanent. Ideal for a financial accountant looking to juggle work alongside other work/life commitments.
Responsibilities - Part-Time Financial Accountant
- Lead all activity relating to the preparation of statutory accounts
- Accounting - journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and I/C reconciliations
- Support the timely production of Management Accounts including Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow
- Preparation and review of reconciliation of VAT Returns, UK, EU, ROI
- Research VAT queries proposed by the Accounts teams & propose best treatment
- Preparation and review of tax computations
- Stock and WIP accounting for contracts
The Person - Part-Time Financial Accountant
- A recognised accounting qualification with the ability to contribute to a developingfinance function
- Ability to work under pressure, use initiative and go the extra mile when required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent double-entry knowledge and experience with Excel
- Experience in the marketing, advertising, media or related sector is highly advantageous
