Our client, a prestigious full-service Top 100 legal practice with an outstanding reputation for private client services, is searching for a Private Client Trusts and estates Tax Specialist to join its dynamic and ever-growing Private Client team. This exciting role is focused on tax and accounting compliance support for trusts and estates, working closely with a team of experts who thrive on delivering exceptional results.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll take on the challenge of preparing detailed and accurate estate accounts, annual trust account, trust & estate tax returns, IHT returns, CGT returns, & more. Your responsibilities will also include managing trust administration tasks, updating the Trust Registration Service, and supporting the firm's trust company as a professional executor and trustee.

You'll be at the heart of a team that values work-life balance, collaboration, and technical expertise. There is also some scope to get involved in advisory projects, and identifying planning opportunities is encouraged to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients and help the Private Client team maintain its top-tier reputation.

Who They are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of practical experience in accountancy or tax and a solid understanding of trusts and estates. If you hold qualifications like STEP, ATT, or CTA, that's a huge plus, but if you're eager to achieve these, our client is more than happy to support you.

You should have excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills (especially Excel), and the ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure. Experience with CCH Personal Tax or CCH Trust Accounts software is an advantage, but a proactive and adaptable attitude will serve you just as well.
