Product Change Manager for a Specialist Mortgage Lender

My client is a new and dynamic specialist mortgage lender, seeking an experienced Product Change Manager to lead the development and launch of innovative mortgage solutions.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing product changes from inception to launch, ensuring that all processes, criteria, and systems are optimized to meet market demands. This pivotal role involves:

  • Leading Product Development: Managing product improvements through detailed analysis, market research, and business proposals.
  • End-to-End Project Management: Taking full ownership of product launches, from system specifications to user acceptance testing and final delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and business readiness.
  • Technical Oversight: Signing off on regulatory documents and communications and managing the resolution of any product-related issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of UK mortgage processes, particularly in residential mortgages.
  • Experience in the development of mortgage origination and back-office systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work from a London office three days a week.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience as a mortgage broker or underwriter.
  • Experience within mortgage product management.
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills.
