As a Regional Finance Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining high financial standards for the schools you work with. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you'll manage the monthly financial processes, work closely with school leadership, and ensure compliance with the Academies Financial Handbook.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting, budgets, and cash flow for your assigned schools.
- Prepare management accounts and month-end reconciliations.
- Lead the financial planning process and partner with school principals for strategic decision-making.
- Manage finance staff, ensuring efficient financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement legislation and our Schools' financial policies.
- Drive initiatives that promote financial best practices across the region.
What We’re Looking For:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Strong experience in financial management and reporting, ideally within a school environment.
- High proficiency with Excel and financial systems like PSF, Concur, and IMP (desirable).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
