Are you an ambitious and innovative professional with a passion for corporate banking? Our client, a leading investment bank, is seeking a Relationship Manager to join their team and play a key role in their growth and expansion plans.

As a Relationship Manager, you will work closely with the team head in developing new relationships within different asset classes, including M&A, IG, and PF. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with UK domestic and European businesses, with an expanding focus on the Chinese market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team head to identify and bring on board qualifying business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, participating in syndicated loans and underwriting transactions
  • Prepare credit applications and present them to credit committees
  • Monitor clients' portfolios, conduct financial analysis, and ensure compliance with financial covenants
  • Collaborate with various departments to manage credit risk and meet regulatory requirements
  • Stay up to date with market trends in international business, particularly in the UK and European corporate banking market
  • Complete other tasks as required by the Deputy Head / Head of Corporate Banking

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in banking or related finance industry
  • Solid credit management experience within Corporate Banking
  • Good understanding of corporate financing activities and products
  • Working knowledge of EU Syndicated Loans
  • Ability to build effective relationships and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with financial modelling skills
  • Strong attention to detail, including the ability to interpret legal clauses and loan documentation
