We are seeking a candidate with strong Corporate Lending experience to join a dynamic team at a leading international bank located in the heart of London. Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Head of Real Estate Finance, this role involves monitoring a designated business portfolio, cultivating new business opportunities, preparing credit proposals, and managing various aspects of the real estate finance process. Candidates must have fluent Cantonese language skills, and experience working within UK Markets

Duties of the Relationship Manager - Corporate Lending (Fluent Cantonese) to include:

  • Monitor designated business portfolio and cultivate new business (both primary and secondary deals).
  • Prepare credit proposals and periodic credit review reports and submit in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with Risk Management during pre-approval on credit risk matters.
  • Work closely with Loan Support & Services during post-approval on loan documentation matters.
  • Collaborate with KYC team and Business Distribution and Service to onboard new borrowing customers.
  • Develop strategies, tactics & action plans to achieve key performance targets.
  • Keep abreast of banking regulations, the Bank’s lending policy, and the latest market conditions.

What we need from you:

  • Local UK experience working within CRE is essential
  • Fluent Cantonese language skills is essential
  • University graduate in Economics, Business, Real Estate, Finance, Legal, or related disciplines.
  • Credit and documentation experience in proposing and negotiating credit structures.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, credit structuring, and risk administration practices.
  • Experience in people management
