We are seeking a highly experienced Repo Tester to join our dynamic team in a global banking environment. This role will focus on testing and validating critical systems for bonds and repos, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations across our trading platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in trade lifecycle testing, trade reconciliation, and reporting while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Description

Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

Testing Expertise in Bonds and Repos:

  • Conduct thorough testing for bonds and repo-related systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data and processes.

Integration Testing:

  • Validate integration between systems and platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and functional interoperability.

Trade Reporting and Reconciliation:

  • Perform trade reporting tests to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
  • Conduct trade reconciliation to validate consistency and accuracy across trading systems.

Murex Testing:

  • Leverage expertise in Murex (MXG2000 and MX.3) to perform functional testing, configuration validation, and issue resolution.

Trade Lifecycle Testing:

  • Design and execute test scenarios for the end-to-end trade lifecycle, identifying and resolving defects at every stage.

Data Mapping and Validation:

  • Analyse data mapping requirements and perform comprehensive data validation to ensure data integrity and quality.

Test Planning and Execution:

  • Develop detailed test plans, prepare test cases, and execute tests in alignment with project requirements.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects, ensuring clear communication and traceability.

Profile

A successful Candidate will Have the following experience:

  • Strong experience with bonds and repos testing is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in integration testing, including cross-platform validation.
  • Experience in trade reporting and trade reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Murex (MXG2000 and MX.3), including configuration and testing.
  • Knowledge of trade lifecycle processes and associated testing methodologies.
  • Experience in data mapping and data validation.
  • Proven ability to plan, prepare, and execute test cases efficiently.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Job Offer

On offer for a successful candidate is the ability to work in a hybrid format commuting to the office 2-3 days per week for an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of an extension while earning up to £650 per day Inside IR35.
