Lewisham is looking for a Revenues & Benefits Control Manager to lead the financial management and compliance of our revenues and benefits service.

  • Oversee and manage control processes for the revenues and benefits function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Lead a team responsible for processing housing benefit claims, council tax reduction applications, and business rates administration.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure adherence to legislative requirements, including subsidy audits and grant claims.
  • Develop strategies to improve service delivery, reduce fraud and error, and optimize revenue collection.
