Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Risk Manager to join their Global Risk Management team on a fixed-term contract until mid-November 2025. This role is an incredible opportunity to contribute to their mission of achieving risk and regulatory objectives while being an integral part of a talented team.

As part of the Global Risk Management function, you will be engaging with diverse professionals who ensure optimal risk identification and management across the organisation's Investment Solutions & Services Businesses. Your role will directly support the European Distribution services, interacting with a range of stakeholders including banks, financial advisors, and more.

  • Lead and support the European Distribution business, acting in alignment with the risk management framework.
  • Provide essential insights into risk profiles, empowering senior management with critical information.
  • Facilitate business scenario planning exercises and ensure timely execution.
  • Maintain and capture risk data, implementing key risk indicators (KRIs) to ensure robust governance.
  • Coordinate significant incidents and events, ensuring they are escalated appropriately while leading mitigation efforts.
  • Deliver detailed analytical reviews for risk-based assurance and advise on material changes to control processes.
  • Share value-added risk and control reporting with regional committees, spotlighting key risks and regulatory initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced customer journey outcomes through proactive risk solution recommendations.
  • Engage in training and education to promote risk awareness across the business.
  • Lead thought on transformative programmes, delivering valuable insights to senior management.
  • Proven experience in Operational Risk Management, especially within the Asset Management sector.
  • Strong analytical skills complemented by a readiness to tackle problems head-on.
  • A hands-on approach with demonstrated success in high-pressure environments and effective prioritisation.
