Remedy Education, an education specialist, is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a skilled School Finance Manager to join a large, dynamic school in Lambeth. We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the school's finance department, starting as soon as possible, with a comprehensive 6-week handover period. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from £160 - £180 per day, dependent on experience.

Job Description:

As the School Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the school. Your key duties will include:

  • Managing the school's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Managing payroll, invoicing, and procurement processes
  • Liaising with external auditors and stakeholders
  • Providing strategic financial advice to senior leadership
  • Leading and developing the finance team
