This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Client Manager to join a thriving, regional accountancy firm in London and it will suit an ambitious and motivated ACCA qualified accountant who is keen to oversee the provision of general accounting services for a large and diverse client portfolio,

We're seeking for a candidate with confidence who can efficiently resource a team and delegate workload, monitoring work in progress, deadlines and maintaining enhanced client relationships. You'll be comfortable with all aspects of recruitment, coaching and training and you'll be able to nurture the potential of your team.

You will need to be a skilled relationship manager and you'll be keen to become involved in business development and supporting the Partners with the continued growth of the firm.

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for high level leadership and managing staff, as well as career and personal development and overseeing the allocation and flow of work within the department.
  • Oversee a varied client portfolio in a wide range of industries including Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies and High Net Worth Individuals.
  • Statutory and management accounts reviews.
  • In depth knowledge of legislation and the ability to advise clients on their best direction of travel.
  • The strategic development and direction of the department.
  • Change management.
  • Provide ambitious standards of excellent customer service to clients by answering queries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work on any ad hoc projects as necessary.
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth by helping to build good relationships with both prospective clients and existing clients.
  • Work as part of a team that fosters a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Support the Partners as required.
